The Host

Sorry for being such a lousy blogger! But I have a valid reason! First of all, I have lots of reorganization to do after my trip to Lyon! Secondly, I just started my new job so I'm busy like a bee! But consider this my comeback to the blogosphere :)

When I was in Lyon I watched The Host with my friend. It's based on a novel from Stephenie "Twilight" Meyer. And I actually have to admit... this movie is kinda better than Twilight! Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Max Irons... What an amazing cast! Move over Robsten! This couple is way hotter!The storyline is set in an post-apocalyptic, distopian world, which made me think of Cielos de la Tierra from Mexican writer Carmen Boullosa, the novel I based my thesis on in university!

It's really a must see and if you want to see a badass Diane Kruger, this is your chance!

The Debt

This is a movie right up my alley. The horror from the Second World War and the repercussions afterwards interest me so much. It's so sad to know that the reality can be so horrible, that when they make a film about it, they have to put some positive elements in it, like the love scenes between the Mossad agents. It's a really good movie with deceiving scenes and flashbacks. One to watch for sure! ♥

P.S. I'm gonna say the obvious right now, but how amazingly talented is Jessica Chastain? And how beautiful is she? Wow! One of my favorite actresses of the moment, for sure! ♥

Lace, lace, lace!

I've always been obsessed with lace, and white lace particularly. I love it so much because white lace makes you look (and feel!) so chique, distinguished and romantic. And I adore the whole bohemian vibe as well! I just scored a white lace dress in Zara, bohemian chic is totally my style! ♥

Technicolor Coats

I'm such a sucker for bold colors. I'm particularly fond of a classic snit, combined with a fierce color. It totally makes you stand out of the bunch!

On another note, today I'm going to Lyon! I'm so happy, because I'll finally see my French roommate from Mexico again! I'm gonna spend 6 days there and I couldn't be more happy! I never visited Lyon, so if you have suggestions for me, shoot! ♥

Leopard meow!

I got to admit that I'm not a huge leopard print fan. In my opinion, leopard prints turn out to be tacky 90% of the time. The only leopard item in my possession are ballerina flats. But when I saw this blogpost on Ella&Louise, I found myself quite obsessed with the leopard madness! Meow! ♥

 P.S. Today was my last day at my current job. It was sad to say goodbye to my collegues who have become dear friends. But it's time for me to take a new road in my life. I'm so excited for what's to come! ♥

SUNday fun at the beach!

This year, I've already went 2 times to the beach in Belgium! Crazy shizzle! So happy and thankful for the heat wave that we're having right now! ♥

Yesterday I went to Oostende Beach with a friend. One year ago, when we went to the beach together, it started raining. So we were a bit sceptic, but this year around we were lucky : we passed our sunday sunbathing! Perfect sunday! ♥
