Even after all this time, I'm still in love with Free People's May catalog 2011! When I was a little girl (long long ago), I always said that I wanted to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon. Well, that actually doesn't seem such a bad idea! ♥ I have a serious girl crush going on with the blonde model! She's perfect ♥ I've got some serious hair envy going on!

Yesterday was horrible. My beloved baby:

suffered without us knowing it, from a serious uterus infection :( You can tell from this picture how she was suffering, my poor baby :/ Fortunately, I got her to the vet in time, the operated her and now she's back home since yesterday. Hence the no blogging! I hope my baby will be her old self very soon ♥ But anyhow, moving to fashion... I'm still very much in love with the Club Monaco Fall 2011 collection ♥ That skirt! ♥

The Wrath of the Titans

Yesterday I decided to pamper myself, and I went to Esthetiek Elke in Torhout for a mani pedi and a facial mask! Heaven ♥ If you live in West-Vlaanderen (Belgium), you should go and check it out!

Afterwards I went to the movies, to watch The Wrath of the Titans!



Although it's not a wow movie, I'm always in for some Greek mythologie :) Despite the fact that I was really bummed out because of the absence of salty popcorn (can you believe this?), I really enjoyed my movie night out :)

The Hunger Games

Yesterday I finally went seeing The Hunger Games. As always, in Europe a book genre Twilight,The Golden Compass,... only gets success if they make a blockbuster of it! But I don't care because finally, I'm totally hooked on Katniss, putting The Hunger Games trilogy on top of my 'to read list'! Move over Twilight, I got myself a new obsession... ♥


And I didn't know I would ever say this, but damn, Miley Cyrus has good taste ♥

As I said earlier on, I went with my family to Maastricht, for a weekend of shopping and eating, my favorite things on earth ;)And the shopping was quite good!

In H&M, I bought a navy blue blazer, a simple top and this cool necklace



For the weekend, we stayed at the incredible Derlon Hotel. The service is amazing here, I highly recommend it!

Saturday night, we went to eat to Rozemarijn, such a high class restaurant♥ I ate the best Dame Blanche ever there ;)

Sunday, before heading back to Belgium, we brunched on a boat. Overall a very good weekend!

On another note: Tomorrow (and perhaps Sunday as well), I won't be able to blog, because I'm going to Maastricht (Holland) with the family to celebrate Easter :) So looking forward to this! Since December, when I got back from Mexico, I haven't even left Belgium once! Must. Travel. Urgently. Xx

So yesterday I went to see Titanic in 3D... Titanic has got to be one, if not THE, of the best movies ever. I've already seen it over twenty times. I know every detail. I'm obsessed with the soundtrack. And still, Titanic moves me to tears. Or dare I see: makes me bawl like a baby... :) I love that movie! ♥ And I love Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who both still belong on my 'favorite actors list'. I'm still in love with Jack Dawson, and I still think that Rose DeWitt Bukater is the most beautiful woman in the world. Oh Kate and Leo, look how young they were ♥

Cirque du Soleil: Alegría

Another item that I can tick off my bucket list!
After years of obsessing with this Cirque du Soleil show, and particularly with the song Alegría, I finally went seeing it in Brussels!

I've always had a strange fascination with the circus. It could totally have to do with the major crush I had in my adolescence with an acrobat. Yes I realize that sounds strange, but man that body! You would totally understand! It could also be because my great great great grand father (or great great great great, I always forget...) travelled with a circus.

But anyhow, if you haven't seen a Cirque du Soleil show yet, you have to go! It's totally breathtaking ♥
