I'm such a sucker for French costume dramas. Hence my love for the movie Bel Ami. Everybody always laughs with Robert Pattinson, saying he is a lousy actor, but I really think he's not. My proof? Films like Water for elephants and Bel Ami. The casting director of this movie has clearly the best taste ever regarding actresses, because each one of them is a personal favorite of mine: Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas. I do hate the fact that Kristin is playing such a weak woman in the movie, because to me, she's a powerhouse! She's been my favorite ever since I've discovered The English Patient. But if you can excuse me now, I need to buy Bel Ami the book, I'm sure I'll love it :)

The Ardennes
The Ardennes, or in my language, D'Ardennen, is the last Belgian movie I saw in the cinema. I didn't had high expectations, but man, this movie has a killer end that I didn't saw coming! The story is about two whitetrash brothers and a girl. Because face it, in the end it's always about a girl. Two of the main actors are Kevin Janssens and Veerle Baetens, so I kinda could have known I was in for a good ride. One thing is sure: next time I'm in The Ardennes, I will be a little more scared in the woods...

The Maze Runner : The Scorch Trials
It's kinda funny story how I came to watch this movie. Some time ago, I gave Tinder a chance. I know, what was I thinking :D So I met a guy and he seemed perfect... until we met up and went to the movies. I won't get into the details, but major douchbag alert! The only good thing about our date was the movie (haha). I'm still obsessed with this trilogy, although the second movie couldn't be more different than the first one: read scary zombies af. I really have to start reading the books asap! And don't forget: Wicked is good!

Narcos
Another Netflix favorite of mine? Narcos! The true story about the Colombian king of narcotrafics: Pablo Escobar. I discovered lots of new great actors, like the Mexican Ana de la Reguera and ofcourse Pablo itself: Wagner Moura. Moura is actually a brasilian who had to learn Spanish in order to portray Escobar. How crazy is that?! Nobody could do him justice like Wagner, such a great actor! With oneliners like plata o plomo (money or bullet), Narcos is my Netflix favorite of the year. Can't wait until the second season! ♥
