Alive in Mexico :)

No I'm not dead! I'm alive and kicking in Puebla, México :) I'm so sorry for my absence, but I honestly don't have the time to blog. Living here is amazing: the people are so nice, there are so many things to see and to do, and the food! O the food :)http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

But anyhow, I decided to break my blog silence because sweet Sofie from Pas de Chocolat has tagged me :)

1. I've lived 8 months in Almería, Spain, with the beach at a 5 minute walking distance
2. I'm currently studying a Master in Mexican Literature in Puebla, México

México!

El tiempo ha llegado... The time has arrived: I'm leaving Belgium to go and study 5 months in Puebla, México. It's so surreal that I'm leaving again for such a long time! I'm gonna miss my family, friends and above all my beloved dog so much! But I know that I'll have the time of my life in Mexico, this is truly a dream coming true :) Tonight I'm leaving for Brussels, where I'll spend the night, because I have an early flight to catch! My mom is coming with me the first week, so normally I won't update next week. The week after, I'm already leaving Mexico for Cuba, so excited about it !! So probably we'll meet again in two weeks! Buenas vacaciones, mis amores!

Closet Confessions: Giuliana Rancic

G is one of my favorite E! hosts, I love that gal and her quirkyness :D And I obviously love E! So I was pleased to find Giulana's Closet Confessions, straight from her E! dressing room! Could you die? Yes G! And I also love a classic pair of Loubs, what a coincidinc :D And I loooove her playful banter with Ryan Seacrest, even when he's not there :) And how funny is Jose : tits has a beter rhythm :D And Guiliana is hilarious: Sorry SJP :D She's right though, what a crappy dress!

Karl Lagerfeld + Magnum

I adore Karl. I'm crazy about Magnums. And Rachel Bilson is one of my favorite actresses. So you can imagine how curious I was about this collaboration :) Rachel looks absolutely stunning, as always! And I kinda agree with Baptiste on this one, her real hair is totally beter, her ombre hair is so cool :)

Heidi Klum + Lou

Heidi Klum has got to be one of the coolest moms out there! And how adorable is little Lou?! I could eat her, soooo cute! Heidi and Seal are one of my favorite celeb couples, they're such a genuine (and ridiculously goodlooking) family!

Closet Confessions: Nicky Hilton

I'm so jealous of Nicky Hilton's shoe closet, aaaargh the envy! And her Alexander Wang Zipper sunnies! Nicky is definitely my favorite Hilton sister: Thank god my sister doesn't appreciate vintage... :D AND she loves studs, hobo bags and vintage Chanel? I love you Nicky!

Day 30 – A photograph of myself + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days

This picture is taken yesterday, when I went to Polé Polé, a festival in Ghent! I had such a good time with my bestie :)


Many good things have happened these past 30 days, it's hard to pick just 3, but here we go:

1. I finally can cross Cuba off my bucket list!
2. I've spent the most amazing summer with my friends and family before jetting off to Mexico!
3. I have landed myself a job on So You Think You Can Dance!

Day 26 – A celebrity I don’t like.

It's not that I don't like Spencer Pratt, it's just that I HATE HIM SO MUCH! Seriously! I can't stand watching him, even not for a minute. Reason? Allow me to quote the wise Lauren Conrad: He's a sucky person!

Day 24 – A song to matches my mood.

I'm a bit melancholic right now, and this song reminds me of the good days!

Day 23 – The next plan I have coming up that I'm really excited for.

I'm so sorry for my absence, but I was in Amsterdam to help with the TV auditions of So You Think You Can Dance! Dat wordt weer knallen!

And to continue the challenges: I'm really excited to leave Belgium again! In exactly two weeks, I'm heading to Puebla, México to go study a Master in Mexican Literature! Qué ganas tengo!

Day 17 - A TV show I'm currently addicted to

I'm so sorry for the lack of posting, but I'm in a So You Think You Can Dance state of mind :) I just came home after attending the TV auditions in Ghent, and it was so awesome! Next week there are TV auditions in Amsterdam (12/13 juli - Carre) , I'm so excited! If anyone from my Dutch readers wants to attend the auditions as part of the audience, just sent a mail to jessiefoubert@kanakna.com !

Since my BFF wants to stay anonymous, I'm skipping challenge 16 and I'm going straight to my current favorite TV show: ♥ BONES ♥

Splurge: Guess

Aaaand I couldn't help myself! Sales are crazy here in my hometown! This pair was 70% off! Amazeballs!

Splurge: Marc by Marc Jacobs

It's been years now that I'm eyeing the Marc by Marc Jacobs Mouse ballerinas. So when I saw a beautiful pair of black ones in my size with 60% off, I could do nothing but buy them instantly :) Needless to say how happy I am :)


And since I sadly forgot my beloved Roxy slippers in Almería, and I already was completely in Marc Jacobs heaven, I decided to buy these slippers too, who were ridiculously underpriced! Win Win!

Day 15 - Something I regret

I regret that I never went on Erasmus because of a boy! How very Lauren Conrad of me. But I guess I kinda made up for it :)

Day 14 - My Wishlist

It was very difficult to narrow it down, but here is a representative wishlist instead of my actual and neverending wishlist :)

Day 13 - What I want more than anything right now.

I'm so craving homemade American Cookies right now! :(
When I was living with an American girl in Almería, she made almost every week these delicious cookies, mmmm! Me wants!


And non food wise: I really hope that I can go back to Cuba in August, fingers crossed!

Day 11 - The Last Item that I Purchased

So I'm gonna skip the next three challenges, because a. I'm not going to share on the internet who I'm fancying at the moment b. The content of my fridge, and any fridge for that matter, is just boring! and c. I'm not even sure if I ever want to get married.


On to challenge 11: The last item I bought was actually in Cuba, it's this amazing postcard from Che Guevarra!
