Calaveras mexicanas

One of the things that I love most about Mexico are the calaveras aka Mexican colorful skulls. Nowadays it's fashionable wearing skulls, but most of the people don't realize it's actually a Mexican tradition. Western cultures state that you have to be afraid of death. But in Mexico, they celebrate death. Hence the colorful skulls. Día de los muertos was by far my favorite Mexican tradition to celebrate. I have tons of calavera jewelry and clothes, but I'm always looking for new additions to my collection. WhoWhatWear did a post about calaveras, and I wouldn't mind taking these babies home with me:
